Transcription error

Dear project team,

Having transcribed two or three scans from "ARMU003000051_0062, Letterbook of Gen Sir William H Clinton", I now realise that his correspondent in several letters is probably Robert Cock, not Robert Lock as I transcribed in my first scan submitted in this sequence.  Sorry, from a newbie!

Andrew.

    Hi Andrew,

This shouldn't be a problem. We validate all entries before they're finalised so will keep an eye out for this one and correct the error for you.

    Thanks for taking part!

    Ben

    Thanks, Ben.

A couple more, on the same document (but not necssarily the same scan).

    - I was initially unable to decipher the sender's location at the top of a couple of letters, but with experience I now believe this to be Augustias (in Madeira).

    - On as subseqent scan of the same document finalised today, I forgot to add metadata.  Sorry!

    Andrew.

    Ben,

Another error today, this time on the Pontoon Train letterbook, scan of correspondence dated 12-17th August 1815. I seem to have finalised this by mistake when I was only half-way through the metadata.  Sorry.

    Andrew.

    Ben,

Today on at least one scan of ARMU003000037_0049 (the Pontoon Train letterbook) I transcribed a Mr Davies' title (in the signature block and metadata) as "Asst Sergt", whereas a subsequent scan confirmed this should be "Asst Surg" (short for Assistant Surgeon).

    Thanks.

    Andrew.

Somehow I managed to overlook the instruction to open a new field for each separate item of metadata, therefore for the last 30-odd scans I'm afraid there will have been multiple entries in many fields.  Sorry.  I will proceed correctly from now on.

    Andrew.
